Title

HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE MIX DESIGN USING EXCEL

Abstract

This research paper delves into the intricacies of M70 High Strength Concrete (HSC) grade Mix Design, employing MS Excel as a quality control measure in concrete production. The study meticulously follows the IS Method of Concrete Mix Design as per IS Code 10262:2019, aiming not only to select optimal ingredients—cement, aggregate, water, and admixtures—but also to determine their proportions for achieving concrete that is economical, robust, workable, and durable. The provided Excel sheet, based on IS 10262, facilitates precise mix proportioning for normal concrete mixes ranging from M10 to M80, extendable to M100 grade. Comparative analysis between traditional and high-strength concrete mix designs reveals heightened accuracy and time efficiency in the Concrete Mix Design process. This research contributes valuable insights into enhancing the quality and efficiency of concrete production, particularly in the realm of high-strength concrete formulations.
