ABSTRACT: Pharmaceutical companies, medical professionals, and industry are starting to pay attention to drug distribution as a separate, interdisciplinary area of study. In addition to having an impact on the development and efficacy of new therapeutic strategies, such as peptide and protein delivery, glycoprotein administration, gene therapy, and RNA interference, targeted and safe drug delivery could enhance the effectiveness of some conventional medicines that are currently on the market. Implants, nanotechnology, cell and peptide encapsulation, microfabrication, chemical modification, and other cutting-edge drug delivery methods have all been created. However, a number of concerns will need to be resolved along the lengthy path from the clinic to the market, including appropriate scientific research, particular financial support as a result of revised scientific policy, governmental laws, and commercial.
