Abstract

Purabi Bormudoi is a famous novelist in recent time in Assamese literature. Baghshal, Baghjal aru manuh is one of her most famous novel. this is a social novel. Characters in this novel are well developed. All the characters of this novels are taken from the contemporary society of assam. In this paper we tried to discuss the various shades of characters reflect in this novel.
