Abstract
This research article provides a comprehensive review and comparative analysis of organic farming policies in the Northeast states of India. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of these policies in promoting sustainable agriculture and improving farmer livelihoods in the region. Data were collected from government reports, policy documents, academic journals, and stakeholder interviews. The findings highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the policies across the states and offer strategic recommendations for policy enhancement. This study underscores the importance of tailored organic farming policies to boost sustainable agriculture in the Northeast.
