Abstract
High resolution temperature scanning technique has been performed to measure the data of optical birefringence (n) as a function of temperature of compounds Pentyloxy-cyanobiphenyl (5OCB), Hexyloxy-cyanobiphenyl (6OCB), Heptyloxy-cyanobiphenyl (7OCB). To establish the temperature variation of the birefringence (n) from the transmitted intensity data laser wavelengths of = 632.8 nm is used.
