Abstract

This article attempts to comprehend Charani literature using various folklorists as a reference. The article provides a concise history of Charani literature beginning with ancient and medieval perspectives on Charan lore’s literary, social, religious, and cultural aspects. It also lauds the courage and fortitude of the Rajput heroes who fought against… Charani literature is the most extraordinary ancient Gujarati or Rajasthani work and one of the greatest Indian works.
