India is a country of villages. About 80% of the population lives in villages in India. Indian economy is a mixed economy. Micro, Small and Medium Industries have been important in the Indian economy. In india the Micro, Small and Medium industries are regulated by the ministry of Micro,Small And Medium Enterprises . Khadi and village industries are the industries under micro, small and medium enterprises category. which contributes like other industries are contributing to the development of country’s economy, This paper shows about khadi and village industries commission and chhattisgarh khadi and village industries board. By studying the paper it is known that how Chhattisgarh khadi and industries board contributes to the income generation of chattisgarh state and how board provides new employment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
