Title

Empowering Healthcare Technology with Data-Driven Patient Reporting Automation

Authors

Abstract

Effective and precise patient reporting systems are necessary due to the increasing complexity of healthcare data administration. Healthcare practitioners and patient outcomes are adversely affected by conventional manual reporting techniques, which are susceptible to human errors, delays, and inefficiencies. The effects of automated patient reporting prompted by data are the focus of this study, which analyzes case studies, survey responses, and key performance indicators from healthcare organizations that have implemented automated systems. The results indicate that automation leads to a 42% decrease in turnaround time (TAT), a 35% decrease in administrative burden, and a 1.5% error rate, as opposed to a 6.2% error rate in manual reporting. Additionally, patient satisfaction increased by 25%, primarily due to the expedited delivery of reports and the improved accessibility. Despite these benefits, considerable initial expenses, personnel training requirements, and data security concerns continue to impede widespread implementation. This research emphasizes the revolutionary potential of automation in patient reporting, emphasizing its role in enhancing the efficiency, precision, and patient experience of healthcare. Enhancing interoperability, strengthening cybersecurity protocols, and utilizing AI-driven natural language processing (NLP) to provide further automation enhancements should be the primary focus of future advancements.

Key Words

Healthcare practitioners, automated patient reporting, AI-driven natural language processing (NLP), patient satisfaction
