Indravaruni is Citrullus colocynthis Schrad belongs to family Cucurbitaceae, mostly found throughout India, both wild and cultivated. C. colocynthis is extensively used by Ayurvedic practitioners to treat Diabetes, Constipation, Abdominal pain, Ammenorrhea, deafness, Rheumatism etc. Indravaruni is described with its various formulations and indications in Samhita and Chikitsa granth. It is one of the content of Lodhrasava, phaltrikadi kwath, Mahatiktak ghrita etc. In this article we are going to discuss complete review of Indravaruni.
