Title

An Android Application for Facilitating the Exchange of Used Goods in Campus

Abstract

This research introduces the creation of an Android application called StucKart, specifically developed to enhance the process of buying and selling second-hand items within university communities. Through the implementation of an online campus information system, students gain improved educational planning resources, aiding the university in efficient information management strategies. The paper outlines and contextualizes the framework of this online campus information system, catering to both undergraduate students and college faculty. The application itself includes various features such as user authentication, secure communication, location based services, and transaction management. Ultimately, this study offers valuable insights into fostering sustainable e-marketplace business models, drawing from the perspectives and contributions of students. Our lives have changed dramatically as a result of the Internet's expansion, and shopping and selling online is now tremendously handy. But this increase in online activity hasn't always been controlled effectively, especially for students who might find it difficult to manage resources, which has led to waste and financial losses. An app for buying and selling used goods has been created specifically for campuses in order to address this. This program functions as a full featured platform that includes functions including online communication, information browsing, background data management, and more. Its principal goal is to offer students a simple and effective way to buy and sell second-hand products. This not only underlines the worth of pre-owned goods, but also assures access to reasonably priced and excellent products. Furthermore, by minimizing e-waste, it helps the environment while also providing major economic benefits.
