The major objective of presented research paper is to know whether the demographics impacts on the study on microfinance. Further, the study also conducted to know the factors of social capital formation and challenges faced by microfinance. There are 119 lakh SHGs in India with deposits over 47240 crores as on 31st March 2022 and 34 lakhs SHGs have been credit linked during the FY 2021-22 and savings all India stood at 25576.94 crores (NABARD, 2022).
