Electrical stimulation (ES), alternatively referred to as neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TES), entails the application of electrical currents to activate nerves or nerve endings that connect to muscles beneath the skin. The prevalence of muscle disorders is on the rise, driven by sedentary lifestyles associated with corporate jobs and decreased physical activity. Additionally, a considerable number of individuals sustain muscle injuries through sports or accidents. In many instances, these individuals require muscle stimulation treatment to restore nerve sensitivity. The use of muscle stimulators is a common practice in addressing such cases.
