Title

INDIVIDUALIZED THERAPY: OVERCOMING OBSTACLES

Abstract

Personalized medicine, sometimes referred to as "precision medicine," is a cutting-edge approach to healthcare that considers the unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle variations of each patient. Personalized medicine has the potential to completely transform healthcare in the current era, as a result of substantial developments in technology and our understanding of genomes. By using genetic testing, we can find out which illnesses someone might be at risk for and then they can make lifestyle changes or take steps to stay healthy and avoid getting disease. This Medicare system bears the potential to develop new safe and effective treatments by taking into account genomic variations of patients into account. This can also bring about a drastic reduction in the proneness of a particular disease in different individuals. One of the most well-known applications of personalized medicine is in the treatment of cancer. Molecular profiling of tumors allows oncologists to choose the most effective chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy for each patient. Personalized medicine holds great promise for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare, as it shifts from a one-size-fits-all model to one that considers individual variability. Advances in technology and ongoing research are continuously expanding the applications and capabilities of personalized medicine in the field of healthcare. However, many ethical, legal and social challenges have been raised against personalized medicine. Currently, there is no regulatory framework for personalized medicine and the current medical and research regulations cannot be applied. Addressing these issues is essential for the modernization of the healthcare system.
