Uttarakhand, often referred to as the "Devabhoomi" or Land of the Gods, holds a special place in India's religious and cultural landscape. Religious tourism contributes significantly to Uttarakhand's economy by generating revenue, creating employment opportunities, and supporting local businesses. Devotees flock to the state for pilgrimages to “Char Dham” (four religious centers namely Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri). The present paper wishes to investigate about the demographic information of pilgrims visiting Badrinath Dham as well as to explore the most common challenges faced by the pilgrims while doing this spiritual journey
