The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted various aspects of society, including the education sector, with significant implications on school children. This paper examines the long-term impact of the pandemic on school children in Nagaland, with reference to Peren District. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, this study explores the challenges faced by school children during the pandemic, including disruptions in learning, mental health concerns, and socio-economic implications. Drawing on interviews and existing literature, the paper offers insights into the strategies adopted to mitigate these impacts and proposes recommendations for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders to address the long-term consequences of COVID-19 on the education and well-being of school children in Nagaland.
