Title

Li Fi Technology: Data Transmission Through Visible Light

Abstract

In today's hyper-connected world, we connect through Wi-Fi which transmits data by using radio waves. But the same data in a larger amount at a higher speed can be transmitted using visible light. Li-FI works on visible light communication which transmits data in the form of binary digits by using an LED as a source and a photodiode that collects the light. This technology has many advantages over Wi-Fi but we know every coin has two sides, so this has disadvantages too. These could be overcome by proper fabrication and controlling the intensity of light.
