The research paper is focused on India’s problem of violence against women and its adoption of measures to protect the rights of women. Throughout history, women have borne the brunt of a male-dominated society. The intricate interplay of unequal socio-economic structures perpetuates an ideology and value system that often marginalizes women. This system is propagated through insidious processes within civilization, leading to various forms of violence against women. Undoubtedly, the oppression and violence against women have escalated to epidemic proportions. This grave issue is now widely acknowledged in international jurisprudence as a "blatant violation of women's human rights.
