Global economic growth patterns have been significantly impacted by the increasing cross-border capital mobility brought about by the financial markets' recent globalisation. Using a thorough analytical approach, this research article seeks to investigate the complex link between global capital flows and economic development. This study explores the ways via which foreign capital flows impact economic growth patterns by thoroughly examining theoretical frameworks and empirical investigations. It specifically looks at how different types of capital, such portfolio investments and foreign direct investment (FDI), either support or obstruct economic progress.
