In response to the prevalent issue of extended wait times in supermarkets, especially during peak periods, we propose an efficient solution - an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Shopping Cart utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). This innovative system integrates RFID sensors, Arduino microcontroller, Bluetooth module, and a mobile application. RFID technology facilitates swift and wireless product identification, enabling seamless management of shopping lists through the mobile app. The system automates billing through wireless transmission, offering a time-efficient and competitive alternative for modern supermarkets.
