The study is carried out on APSPDCL, Tirupati on working capital management. Working Capital is required for carrying out day to day business operations. The present-day competitive market environment calls for an efficient management of working capital. Proper management of working capital is essential to a company's fundamental financial health and operational success as a business. A hallmark of good business management is the ability to utilize working capital management to maintain a solid balance between growth, profitability and liquidity. In this project the size of working capital is done through financial ratios and forecasting technique i.e. moving averages technique, is employed to predict the revenues for future period. Usually, the size will be planned as some % of expected revenues and in this case, as advised by the company management, 70% of revenues as working capital is determined. The past data from 2018-19 to 2022-23 is collected to carry-out the analysis. The research methodology adopted for this study is secondary source of data which include annual reports and other proprietary reports of APSPDCL, Tirupati. This analysis helps in identifying the areas of improvement to push the firm to a healthy situation. Additionally, it could emphasize the importance of continuous monitoring and adjustment of working capital strategies to adapt to changing business environments.
