Abstract

Abstract: This paper describes the role of the teacher in the digital age. As a result of immense wealth of knowledge and educational development, the position of the teacher in the field of education in the 21st century has become complicated. At this time, the teacher should be responsible in his teaching field and focus on student- cantered education by adopting technology. A teacher is one who recognizes himself through new sources of knowledge, has an open-minded nature, adopts a creative profession, works collaboratively, etc. In the digital age, the teacher plays the role of a manager and mediator, explaining the learner's social and emotional behavior, holistic development, motivator for the slow learning learner. In the digital age, the teacher himself learns faster, using electronic resources to make the teaching learning process useful for the learner. The teacher is always ready to bring about changes in the social and emotional issues affecting the learning process so that the learning of the learner becomes effective
