The world becomes increasingly digitized, the role of traditional academic libraries is rapidly evolving. Once repositories of physical books and journals, modern libraries are transforming into smart, digital hubs that leverage cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) to serve the needs of students, researchers, and faculty. This paper explores the various applications of Artificial Intelligence in academic libraries, focusing on how AI tools like ChatGPT are enhancing resource discovery, improving user interactions, and streamlining administrative processes. It also addresses the ethical concerns and challenges associated with AI integration, while highlighting the future potential of AI in reshaping the academic library landscape.
