This paper examines the impact of different women empowerment initiatives implemented in Jharkhand, India, focusing on their impact on enhancing the socio-economic status of women. Key government programs, such as the Maiyan Samman Yojana, Tejaswini Rural Women Empowerment Programme, and the Free Mobile Phone Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs, are analyzed for their roles in providing financial assistance, promoting entrepreneurship, and increasing digital literacy among women. Additionally, the significance of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in facilitating collective action and economic independence is highlighted. And also underscores the obstacles faced by women in Jharkhand, including cultural barriers and limited access to resources, while emphasizing the need for sustained support and policy interventions to achieve gender equality and empower women effectively.
