Title

Baby monitoring system using Arduino and GSM Module

Abstract

—This paper presents a comprehensive baby monitoring system equipped with multiple sensors including temperature, moisture, heartbeat, cry detection, movement, and a camera. The system is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of infants by continuously monitoring their environment and vital signs. Data collected from the sensors are processed and analyzed in real-time to detect any anomalies or potential risks. Upon detecting abnormal conditions such as temperature, excessive moisture levels, irregular heartbeats, cries, or unusual movements, the system triggers an alert message. The alert is transmitted to the parent’s mobile phone via a GSM module, providing them with timely notifications and enabling swift response to the baby’s needs or emergencies. This integrated approach offers peace of mind to parents by allowing them to remotely monitor their baby’s status and take appropriate actions as necessary.
