This paper calculates the gain of the antenna in satellite communications systems and evaluates whether the obtained gain aligns with ideal specifications. It also delves into the calculation of power radiated, considering frequency bands, to estimate communication system performance. Antenna gain is a crucial parameter in satellite communications, directly influencing link efficiency, bandwidth optimization, power efficiency, and interference mitigation. The aim of the paper includes developing accurate calculation methods, evaluating ideal performance, optimizing power radiation, and mitigating non-ideal gain effects. The significance of the findings lies in improved communication system performance, leading to higher signal strength, improved data rates, and enhanced overall system reliability. This paper has implications for various users relying on satellite communications for diverse applications, including individuals, businesses, and governments.
