Cancer is a serious epidemiological problem and is the second leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for nearly 10 million deaths in 2020, or nearly one in six deaths. A Pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test design with quantitative approach was used to conduct to assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on knowledge and attitude regarding home care management of adverse effects of chemotherapy. Most of the cancer patients gain knowledge and develop a favourable attitude regarding home care management of adverse effects of chemotherapy after the structured teaching programme. The study concluded that further awareness programs will enhance the patients to improve their knowledge and skills in managing the side effects of chemotherapy in home effectively.
