RISE OF OTT PLATFORMS: EFFECT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract

This study aims to examine the rise of OTT platforms during the pandemic. Understanding the extent of their growth in popularity during this time is crucial to predicting their future expansion. It is evident that since their inception, OTT platforms have experienced a steep increase in their popularity and usage. However, due to the pandemic, there has been a significant spike in their prominence as people shift towards using different media platforms for entertainment.
