The present study analyses the journey of start-ups from normal economy to the affected economy due to COVID-19; their emerging and rising role for development of new normal economy post COVID-19. India's GDP growth rate for the year 2020 dropped from 5.3% to 2.5% and there was devastation in every sector which has proven prevailing dangerous situations. This Covid-19 has been a blessing in disguise for the Indian economy as the Indian Government’s Atma Nirbhar Bharat package announced had been a big relief especially to the “start-ups”. A well- structured questionnaire was prepared and got filled by a sample size of 46 respondents owning start-ups and recently founded start-ups. The percentage method was used for the analysis by using bar diagrams & pie charts. The results showed that the Start-ups will prove to be a new benchmarking sector that will help in building bricks to new normal economy post crisis.
