Toothache is a common and often debilitating condition that can significantly impact an individual's quality of life. The development of an effective and convenient method of relief is therefore of great importance. This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of medicated lozenges designed specifically for toothache relief. Lozenges provide a localized effect and offer an easy-to-use and non-invasive option for pain management.The formulation process involved selecting appropriate active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) with known analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, such as clove oil. Excipients were chosen to ensure proper consistency, stability, and palatability. The lozenges were prepared using the molding technique, which involved heating and mixing the ingredients before pouring them into molds to cool and harden.
