Introduction: Occupational lung diseases are work-related conditions caused by materials in the workplace, including asthma, industrial bronchitis, COPD, bronchiolitis obliterans, inhalation injury, interstitial lung diseases, infections, lung cancer, and mesothelioma. Objectives of the study: The main objective of the study to assess the effectiveness of structure teaching programme regarding bagassosis among the sugar cane workers selected community area. Methodology: The research approach used for this study was quantitative research approach. A descriptive research design was adopted for this present study. By using convenient sampling technique, 30 sugarcane workers were selected for the present study. Results: The finding shows that in pretest 26(87%) of them have inadequate knowledge, 4(14%) of them have moderate knowledge. In post-test 4(8%) of them have inadequate knowledge, 25(90%) of them have moderate knowledge and 1(2%) of them only had adequate knowledge. Conclusion: The study findings concluded that there is significant change after post-test regarding bagassosis among the sugar cane workers. The chi square reveals that it is statistically association are belonging to non-significance.
