Introduction: Ethical sensitivity is defined as the ability to be aware of the existing ethical issues and to determine the importance of the situation in terms of individual. Objectives of the study: The main objective of the study to assess the level of knowledge regarding ethical sensitivity of patient’s care among staff nurses at SMVMCH, Puducherry. Methodology: The research approach used for this study was quantitative research approach. A Descriptive Research Design was adopted for this present study. By using convenient sampling technique, 100 staff nurses working at SMVMCH, Puducherry were selected for the present study Findings: The present study reveals that Out of 100 samples, 68(68%) of them have Moderate level of knowledge, 21(21%) of them have Mild level of knowledge. The chi square reveals that it is statistically association with frequency of encountering ethical problems with p<0.001 significant level and age, educational status are belonging to p<0.05 significance
