Title

The Impact of Hostel Life on Personality Attributes of engineering students: Case Study of a private engineering college

Abstract

Abstract The period of engineering education is a significant one which deals with the transition from adolescence to adulthood which faces the significant changes occurring in the personality and behavior of the individuals. Though the changes in behavior and personality are genetic transactions social environment also plays a role in the process of transition. Hence engineering students living away from family in hostels may get influenced by the environment of their hostel and peers. This study investigated the perception of students about the environment of hostels and its impact on personality development
