The purpose of this reserch is to evaluate the working women's socio economic condition and income and expenditures in Chennai cities. The resercher conducted a literature search on working women's perception. The data had been collected by giving instructed interview schedule to 120 respondents and thoroughly scrutinized how it caters to the workers needs of the in habitants of Chennai city, The study also focused on various factors that determine this income and expanditures of working women like nature of employement, year of experience in their field monthly income, Job satisfication,Ecomic position and Expanditure pattern. Analysis was made by using percentage method likert's 5 point scaling technique, and Garret's ran king technique the result solved in the study women are well educated and having employment too they spend their major income in the area of house keepings but they spend more money to entertainment and personal care expenses. The Researcher is suggestion in order to in future they will reduce these two expenses and utilize this increase income. This will Increase the family as well as national income of the nation.
