Title

N, N, 3, 5-tetra Methyl Pyridin-4-Amine, Catalyzed Synthesis of Pyrano [2, 3-c] Pyrazolones by Hetero-Cyclization Reaction and Evaluation of Biological Activity

Abstract

A direct [4+2] cycloaddition between vinyl pyrazolone and cinnamonitrile, catalyzed by Pyridine derivative in DMSO at room temperature gives pyrano [2,3-c] pyrazolone derivatives. The newly synthesized biologically active derivatives separated by silica gel column chromatography, and examined for biological activity against, bacteria (S. aureus and B. subtilis, P. aeruginosa and E. coli) and fungi (A. niger).
