The Present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the Prospects and Problems associated with various factors like Labour cost, Marketing cost, Price spread, Marketing channels and Marketing efficiency of farmers in the marketing of Green chillies in Karbi Anglong district of Assam. Karbi Anglong district is one of the hill districts of Assam with a tropical climate conditions suitable for Green Chillies cultivation. But due to lack of infrastructure and communication facilities in the district, the marketing of Green chillies is not as it should be.
