Cyber forensic refers to scientifically proven investigative process and practices to uncover the facts, connecting the time-stamped events and reconstructing the crime-scene to assist court to recognize criminals. Evidences are legally documented and ensuring its admissibility in court. The basic aim of digital forensic is to investigate digital artifacts and accurately determine what had happened, how it happened, and who is responsible for these actions. Digital forensic represents the sequence of actions to carryout structured investigations, securing artifacts and to have forensic information. In this paper, we present a brief overview of three popular forensic models; evaluate their applicability with their key insights and phases.
