Title

EXPOSED: THE DARKER SIDE OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND ITS DEVASTATING EFFECTS ON CHILDREN

Abstract

The social media in this digital era has multifaceted effects on the children’s privacy. This study analyzes the complicated relation between children's online exercises, the content they share, the friendship they make and also other activities they undertake in the social media. By analyzing its effects, the researcher explains the different measures for protecting the children from the cybercrimes that happens through social media platforms. Besides, the study assesses the potential long-term effects on children's mental well-being, social development, and independence within the digital domain.
