Electronic waste (e-waste) is the waste arising from end of life of electronic and electrical equipments such as computers, Mobile phones etc. E- Waste is a crucial issue in the solid waste management sector with global interconnections between well-developed, transitional and developing countries. Addiction to technology dictates the daily life in high and middle-income countries where population consumes large amounts of EEE products. On day to day basis the EEE(Electrical and Electronic Equipments) usage is increasing and so the end of life of these products whereby increasing the e waste. Formal and informal sectors are used for the Management of E-waste in India. Informal Sector of e-waste can cause lots of health hazard as well as harm to the environment. Formal Sector in India is not much advanced by the technology and it demands more infrastructural facilities. Government, Manufacturer, Distributor and customer plays a big role as stakeholders in e waste management infrastructure. There are many challenges and opportunities are available in India for its recycling processes.
