Title

Pauli Magnetic Properties of Londsdaleite and Graphite2H: Semi-classical Boltzmann theory

Abstract

The semi-classical Boltzmann theory, as implemented in the BoltzTraP code, was used to study the electronic transport coefficients of Londsdaleite and Graphite 2H. The electronic power factor, the Electronic Specific Heat, Hall Coefficient (RH), Pauli Magnetic (χ) susceptibility, as a function of temperature at certain values of chemical potential with constant relaxation time, were calculated on the basis of band structure. We have studied the temperature dependence of transport properties of this compound. It is found that Electronic Specific Heat, Hall Coefficient (RH), Pauli Magnetic (χ) properties have remarkably changed with the increase of temperature. The charge carrier concentration and the electrical conductivity were found linearly increasing with increase of temperature in case of Graphite 2H. Plot of Hall coefficient (R H), as a function of temperature at certain values of chemical potential shows the behavior of R H attributed to the concentration of the charge carriers and their mobility.
