Title

Challenges Faced by Students with Poor Handwriting and Their Academic Consequences

Abstract

Handwriting remains a foundational skill in education, even in an era increasingly dominated by digital tools. Despite the technological shift, students continue to rely on writing by hand for tasks such as taking notes, completing essays, and writing examinations. However, for many students, poor handwriting is more than a mere aesthetic issue: it can significantly hinder their academic performance, impact their self-esteem, and limit their long-term educational outcomes. This article explores the diverse challenges that students with poor handwriting face, examines the academic and psychological effects, and outlines effective strategies and interventions to support them.
