Abstract

Horsegram is an under utilized warm season food legume, mainly grew pulse crop in India. Horsegram has excellent therapeutic properties and traditionally used to cure kidney stone, asthma, leucoderma, urinary discharges, piles and heart diseases. It also possess anti-diabetic, anti-ulcer activity and also help in dietary management of obesity due to the presence of beneficial bioactive compounds.
