Title

Synthesis of Bi1-xBaxFe1-yCoy¬O3 (x, y = 0.05 – 0.2) Powder Samples Using Urea Fuel by Solution Combustion Method

Abstract

This paper describes the synthesis of Bi0.95Ba0.05Fe0.95Co0.05¬O3, Bi0.9Ba0.1Fe0.9Co0.1¬O3, Bi0.85Ba0.15Fe0.85Co0.15¬O3 and Bi0.8Ba0.2Fe0.8Co0.2¬O3 ceramic samples by using solution combustion method (SCM). These multiferroic ceramics samples of Bi0.95Ba0.05Fe0.95Co0.05¬O3, Bi0.9Ba0.1Fe0.9Co0.1¬O3, Bi0.85Ba0.15Fe0.85Co0.15¬O3 and Bi0.8Ba0.2Fe0.8Co0.2¬O3 were prepared using metal nitrates and urea as primary precursors. These formulated powder samples were grinded in an acetone media, calcined at different temperatures and finally pellet preparation of these powder samples.
