Title

Design and Development of IOT based Indoor Air Quality Monitoring and Purification using Hepa Filter

Abstract

Abstract- The research focuses on developing an IoT-based Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitoring and purification system, integrating High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter technology for effective air purification. The system comprises sensors for real-time monitoring of key IAQ parameter such as particulate matter (PM) PM9003 and temperature/humidity DHT11, Gas Sensor MQ135.These sensors interface with a microcontroller unit responsible for data acquisition, processing, and transmission. Additionally, the system includes a HEPA filter-based purification unit designed to efficiently remove airborne contaminants. Through IoT technology, users can remotely monitor and control IAQ parameters via smartphones or computers, facilitating informed decision- making. Real-time data visualization and historical trend analysis empower users to manage indoor environments effectively and mitigate potential health risks. The HEPA filter ensures the thorough removal of airborne particles and pollutants, contributing to healthier indoor environments. The system's design emphasizes scalability, modularity, and energy efficiency, making it suitable for various indoor settings. Overall, this research aims to advance IAQ monitoring and purification technologies to enhance indoor air quality and improve the quality of life for occupants.
