Effect of Samasaktu Sarpi Avaleha in Athelets - Sprinters to increase their stamina.

Introduction
• Athletics is the most popular international sport all over the world .
• It involves an excessive sporting activities such as Jerks while Running etc. causing physical exertions, which affects the staminq.
• It is an effort to increase their stamina by using classical ayurvedic methods.
Hence, Here we are conducting the study to evaluate the effect of ‘Samasaktu Sarpi Avaleha on stamina in Sprinters.
Material and Methodology :
Literary references collected from Ayurveda i.e. classics, commentaries, modern literatures, research journals available in institute library, online portals like Pubmed central, Ayush Research portal and Google scholar.
Ayurvedic Literature :
• Ayurved Samhita mentions “Samasaktu Ghrita” preparation in the form of “Sarpiavaleha” in Charak Samhita.
• This Yog can be used in those who are doing excessive running. This yog will be used as Balya yog i.e strengthen the body and increase their stamina.
1.Yashtimadhu : This herb has the Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Antiarthriticproperties. Glycerrhizimicacid as act as a Sterioidalagent.
2. Draksha: Raisins are natural sweet, high in sugar and calories, it helps in digestion, boost iron levels and keep our bones strong.
3. Ghrut: It has a very unique capability to absorb the active constituents of an herb into it, without leaving out gheesinherent quality this is called as Yogavahi. Vatahar, guru, snigdha and having anti aging naturally improve immunities.
4. PIPPALI : Having Analgesic, Anti-inflammatory, Antispasmodic properties. Having Snigdha& Ushna properties therefore it act as a Vatashamak.
5.MADHU : Honey has a Anti-inflammatory properties. It is rich in fructose and glucose therefore it gives nutrition to the body.
6. SAKTU : Yava is a part of Shukadhanya. It is Ruksha, Sheeta, Sara, Vrushya, Sthairyakar. But when it is mixed with above ingredients, it will be act as a Trushnahar, Shramahar, Santarpan& Sadyabalakar.
Aim : To evaluate of the effect of samasaktu sarpiavaleha in sprinters to increase their stamina.
Objectives :
1. Clinical evaluation of the effect of samasaktu sarpiavaleha in endurance of sprinters.
2. Clinical evaluation of the effect of samasaktu sarpiavaleha in sprinters to increase their strength.
Results and Discussion : This is balya yog which can be used in Kshataksheen persons like Athelets – Sprinters to improve their Stamina and Strength of their body.
Conclusion : This Avaleha may improve Sprinters Stamina and Strength of their body.
