Abstract: Three predators, Calotes versicolor, Aranaeous sp. and Hierodula sps. and three parasites, Leptus sp. of mite, Phasia sp. and H. vishwakarma, are observed as natural enemies of L. augur. Among predators C. versicolor has good predatory potential though it is polyphagus. Leptus sp. is of red coloured mite which parasitizes L. augur in larval stage. Mite load per host is observed 1 to 15. Phasia sp. and H. vishwakarma are endoparasites. Only larval stage of Phasia parasitizes the bug and H. vishwakarma preparasites penetrate the host body through weak body points of the host. Single maggot is observed inside a bug while 1 to 5 parasitic nematodes are seen inside a host. After emergent of both endoparasites from the host body, the host dies within 10 – 15 minutes due to loss of vital body tissues. Among all the natural enemies, Phasia sp. and H. vishwakarma have good potential to be used as biocontrol agent after mass multiplication in lab.
