Green synthesis involves the use of environmentally friendly methods, and using plant extracts for the synthesis of nanoparticles is a prime example. The leaf extract, in this case, serves as a reducing and stabilizing agent in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles. The use of plant extracts aligns with environmentally friendly practices, reducing the need for harsh chemicals and energy-intensive processes. Green synthesis methods often use readily available plant materials, making the process cost-effective. This review aims to describe the green synthesis of nanoparticles, specifically focusing on the synthesis of silver nanoparticles using aqueous leaf extract and their applications for nanoparticles in the field of medicine.
