This study assessed the influence of project management practices on effective environmental protection with Sebeya Landscape Restoration Pilot Program in Rwanda. A descriptive and correlation research design was adopted. The collected data revealed positive perceptions of proactive scope management practices. Effective communication practices highlighted strengths in regular reporting and cross-functional collaboration. Environmental risk assessment practices demonstrated positive trends. Building on the findings future research should focus on stakeholder engagement, crisis communication strategies, optimizing environmental risk assessments, and the long-term impact of proactive scope management in environmental restoration projects, aligning with practical implications for advancing project management in this field.
