Title

Silver Nanoparticles synthesis Using Fruits Extract of Momordica dioica and studied its characterization and Biological Application

Abstract

In this study synthesis of AgNPs from M. dioica fruit extract has several benefits, including being environmentally friendly, having a high yield, and being suitable for use in pharmaceutical and other biological applications. Fruit extract from M. dioica is utilized as a reducing and capping agent for AgNO3 reduction. Biophysical techniques such UV-visible spectroscopy, FTIR, X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, and EDS were used to confirm the formation of AgNPs. AgNPs from the fruit ethanol and water extract of M. dioica were found to have peaks at 320 nm and 1.03 eV for AgNPs and 338 nm and 0.85 eV for AgNPs, respectively. AgNPs produced from M. dioica fruit ethanol and water extract had an average crystal size of 48.2 nm and 29.2 nm, respectively. AgNPs are granular particles with a size range of 100-500 nm. It was investigated how effective synthetic AgNPs were as antioxidants. The AgNPs of fruit ethanol extract had an IC 50 value of 652μg/ml, while the AgNPs of fruit water extract had an IC 50 value of 490.40μg/ml. furthermore demonstrated strong antibacterial efficacy against specific pathogens including Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus
