Abstract Bio-fertilizers serve as an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers, offering significant benefits for plant growth, soil health, and environmental conservation. Research on earthworms, such as Eudrilus eugeniae, underscores the potential of integrating biofertilizers with vermiculture to enhance soil fertility, boost plant growth, and improve the nutritional quality of agricultural outputs. This study investigated the effects of different fertilizers on the growth parameters and protein content of Eudrilus eugeniae, a species widely used in vermiculture, while specifically evaluating the potential of biofertilizers like Azolla. The experiment applied organic, inorganic, and bio-fertilizers to determine their impact on the growth rate and protein content in Eudrilus eugeniae. The findings emphasize the effectiveness of organic fertilizers in promoting optimal growth and nutritional quality in earthworms, providing valuable insights for sustainable agricultural practices and vermiculture management.
