Hinghanghat shows a mixed vegetation type dominated by diversified grass species with specific flowering and fruiting periods. Study signifies observed morphometric characteristics of the splendid inflorescence of grass taxa followed with statistical correlation of the dominant grass species. A brief tabulated data represents the detailed morphometric characters of various floral parts of all the studied grass taxa. Two taxa, Chloris barbata, and Eragrostis japonica, shows their dominance- which inspired to further investigation for correlation data amongst the studied taxa through laying 200 quadrats randomly. As a consequence, to our surprise above taxa don’t show similar occurrence in all the studied quadrats. Thus, a negative correlation test between both the dominant taxa and shows that the presence one taxon doesn’t have any effect either on other one.
